New Healthcare Almanac Desktop Currently Available - Feb 27, 2019
Healthcare Almanac is currently available with new information for all Providers through December 31, 2018 and is updated twice a year. Information for Hospital, SNF, HHA, ESRD and Hospice is available through December 31, 2018 and is updated twice a year. The table below shows the number of cost reports available for each type of provider from 2013 to 2018. Healthcare Almanac Desktop is currently running with the new Windows 10 operating system and is compatible with Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.
New Hospital Data for Period Ending Sept 30, 2018 - Released November 19, 2018
The website has been updated with new Hospital data released by CMS through September 30, 2018. The sample Hospital reports are for 2017 and this year is 99% complete. There are only 270 worksheets for Hospitals in 2018 and will be reported next quarter. The website has been improved with new features. Bar graphs have been added to the history views to provide a better view of the data. A KPI Values feature has been added to show the numerator and denominator used for KPI Calculations. A new ranking feature has been added to show 100 providers with similar ranking. The ranking feature is an exciting new feature to analyze cost for a provider. New Profile Detail Report - June 05, 2018
A new Profile Detail Report for Hospitals has replaced the Profile Summary Report for Hospitals. The Detail report has the new ranking feature that ranks all the hospitals by each amount on Worksheet A, B, C and G. Hospitals are similar in services and cost but vary in size. Therefore, revenue and cost should be similar in ranking. For example, if a hospital is ranked 500 in revenue, the cost should be similar in ranking.
