Healthcare Events

Healthcare events are the tradeshows and training opportunities that are available to healthcare professionals. Our goal on this website is to provide a list of these major events. We attend some of these events and believe you should use this training to further your professional development. Over the years, tradeshows have always been a valuable source of information and networking opprotunities.

On this webpage, we list all the major national healthcare events and training opportunties. We plan to add the state level events when we have a reliable source of information.

HFMA - Healthcare Financial Management Association

June 24 - 27, 2018. The conference will be in Las Vegas, NV at the Venetian-Palazzo Sands Expo. This years conference will have an attendance of over 4,000 members. The conference is three days with pre and post conference training sessions. There were over 400 vendors at the tradeshow. The 2019 HFMA ANI conference dates are unavaliable.

AHA - American Hospital Association

May 6 - 9, 2018. The conference was in Washington, DC at the Washington Hilton Hotel for the Annual Membership meeting. This meeting has been in the same location for many years. The main purpose of the meeting is to lobby members of Congress.

SHSMD - Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development

October 07 - 10, 2018. The SHSMD Connections conference is in Seattle, WA, at the Washington State Convention Center. There is a tradeshow and special activities. The SHSMD Connections 2019 is September 8-11, 2019 at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN.

HIMSS - Health Information and Management Systems Society

February 11-19, 2019 in Orlando, FL. The conference will be at the Orange County Convention Center. Over 40,000 members and 1,200 exhibitors are expected to attend.

FICPA - Healthcare Conference

April 19 - 20, 2018 in Orlando, FL at the Caribe Royal Hotel. The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accounts sponsors the Florida Healthcare Conference with the support of the Florida Chapter of HFMA and Florida Hospital Association. The last conference had over 350 attendees and 25 sponsors/exhibitors.
